The Backstory

From Baton Rouge to UMass, to the world — and finally, to Houston.

Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and trained at Ridgeway High in Memphis, Sampson played four seasons of college basketball at the University of Massachusetts before going pro in 2014.

The decade that followed took him across continents — Portugal, Mexico, the Philippines, Canada and beyond — playing professionally with clubs like CAB Madeira, Caballeros de Culiacán, Alab Pilipinas and the Island Storm. Different leagues, different languages, one constant: prepare, adapt, execute.

He brings that same playbook to Houston real estate. Calm under pressure, allergic to the hard sell, and built to represent clients who want a professional in the room — whether they're buying their first home or selling their fifth.

How we work together

The Playbook

01.

Scouting & Analysis

We start with what you actually want — schools, commutes, square footage, light. Then I pull comps, off-market leads, and history to surface the right shortlist.

02.

The Negotiation

The composure of the fourth quarter applied to the closing table. Clean offers, considered counters, no theatrics.

03.

Seamless Transition

Inspectors, lenders, movers, utilities. Relocation handled so day one feels like home.

04.

Long-Term Counsel

Renovation contacts, refinance timing, and a second opinion on your next move — even years out.

"In professional basketball, the difference between winning and losing is preparation. I bring that same relentless focus to how I handle my clients' biggest investment."
